Stolen Alltel Cell Phones Likely Bound for Foreign Soil
yeastrol . Atlanta Appliance Repair . Just a quick follow-up on the Alltel phones stolen from a Fort Smith Arkansas warehouse last week. Industry experts have said the most likely destination for the stolen phones is South America or parts of Asia. Many of these countries also use a CDMA network as does Alltel. Each of the stolen phones has an electronic serial number that can be picked up by Alltel, IF the phone is activated on the Alltel network. This is not likely to happen as authorities believe the phones will end up in foreign countries. It is also believed that the phonese were taken by a well organized gang that steals large quantities of electronics. It is believed the group already had a buyer lined up before the heist was made.
